Elaine has been a volunteer for our team since 2006. Through her work with the Massachusetts General Hospital Blum Patient and Family Learning Center she currently spends several hours weekly assisting with the distribution of patient decision aids and updating the data systems supporting the Shared Decision Making program. Elaine has also been a standardized patient for a recent pilot study to assess shared decision making skills with clinicians across the Partners network.
