Suzanne is an epidemiologist and senior program manager who works with the Informed Medical Decisions Program, the Health Decision Sciences Center, and the Center for the Transformation of Internal Medicine (CENTRI) in the Division of General Internal Medicine at MGH. Her efforts have focused on managing a variety of complex research projects, as well as research to contribute to the scientific evidence to help patients make better health decisions. The strategies she employs to improve medical decision making include shared decision making and patient decision aid development, adoption and implementation of shared decision making and patient decision aids in clinical practice, and the development of measures to document outcomes that matter to patients.

Suzanne holds a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Texas-Houston, a MS in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University and a BS in Nutrition from University of Massachusetts. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
