
Suzanne is an Investigator in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She works with the Center for the Transformation of Internal Medicine (CENTRI), the Health Decision Sciences Center and the Informed Medical Decisions Program. As part of CENTRI, which is a funded initiative designed to implement and evaluate innovative clinical or educational programs in primary care, her role is to provide methodology support and program management. As an epidemiologist, registered dietitian nutritionist and certified health and well-being coach, she focuses on projects that incorporate the patient’s voice into conversations about treatment options to help them make better health decisions. Her research interests include creation, implementation and evaluation of decision tools to support shared decision making, qualitative methods, development and evaluation of lifestyle interventions and treatment options for obesity.
She holds BS and MS degrees in Nutrition and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Texas-Houston, School of Public Health.
