Lauren Leavitt, MA

square Lauren Lauren is the senior program manager at the Health Decision Sciences Center in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She manages multiple projects integrating shared decision making into routine care across Partners HealthCare. She oversees implementation of patient decision aids into clinical practice and provides utilization feedback to leadership and practice champions.

She’s project manager for two externally funded grants measuring the shared decision making process with a goal to promote informed, patient-centered decisions and enhance the quality of care. She helps design and present clinician training promoting shared decision-making concepts aimed at improving clinical conversations.

She was formerly a research coordinator supporting clinical trials at the MGH Cancer Center.  Lauren holds a Master of Arts degree in Health Communication from Emerson College.
