Mr. Giardina is a research assistant at the Health Decision Sciences Center and a third-year PhD student in the Health Policy PhD Program at Harvard University. He has supported a shared-decision making implementation research project at HDSC that focused on decisions surrounding elective orthopedic surgeries.
His current research interests include developing methods to measure the value of shared decision-making interventions.
He holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
