Lotan Kraun, PhD

Dr. Kraun is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Health Decision Sciences Center at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has run academic and community-based health promotion initiatives, focusing on social epidemiology, health promotion, and addressing health inequalities. As a Marie Skłodowska Curie Scholar, his doctoral research centered on empowering older adults and informal caregivers in transitional care decision-making.

Dr. Kraun joined Dr. Sepucha’s team to contribute to several research studies, including randomized controlled trials aimed at improving shared decision-making in cardiology treatment options for older adults and enhancing decision-making resources to empower caregivers in managing pediatric health conditions.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health System Management and a Master of Public Health from Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel and obtained his Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium.
